Keep Laguna Clean brings together hands-on cleanup, education, and community action to protect the coastline we all enjoy. Our mission is simple: remove trash, raise awareness, and inspire people to take an active role in keeping Laguna Beach clean, healthy, and beautiful.
We believe lasting change happens when people feel connected to the place they are protecting. Through beach cleanups, environmental education, school and community outreach, and local partnerships, we help turn everyday beachgoers into long-term coastal stewards.
Our vision is a cleaner, healthier Laguna Beach where residents, visitors, businesses, and future generations all share responsibility for protecting the coast. Every cleanup, every conversation, and every piece of trash removed is another step toward preserving Laguna’s beaches for years to come.
The One Piece a Day Challenge
One piece. Every day. One cleaner coast.
We’re challenging everyone in our community to pick up just one piece of trash every day. It could be a bottle cap, a wrapper, a plastic straw, or anything that doesn’t belong on our beaches, streets, or trails.
It may seem small, but when hundreds or thousands of people do it consistently, the impact adds up fast.
